General Ordering Guidelines:
 
Icons are priced according to size, complexity (one figure or many? complicated scene or simply two figures side by side?) and specialty work requested.  In general, icons are gilded with 23K gold leaf on the halo, while the background is done in paint. Should you wish an icon with a gilded background, we can discuss the price.
 
Portrait icons are priced as follows:
 
7 x 9, one figure, w/ or w/o kovcheg:                           $ 250
9 1/2 x 12 1/2, one figure, w/ or w/o kovcheg            $ 350
11 x 14, one or two figures, w/o kovcheg                     $ 500
 
Festal or scene icons are priced as follows:
 
9 1/2 x 12 1/2 festal or scene icon                                 $ 750
11 x 14 festal or scene icon                                              $ 900
13 x 17, festal scene, w/ or w/o kovcheg                     $1100+

Shipping:

All shipped icons are sent via UPS within the continental U.S.  Small icons (7x9 or 9 1/2 x 12 1/2) are $25; larger icons (11 x 14 or 13 x 17) are $50.  Shipments outside the continental U.S. will be handled on an individual basis.

At this time I unfortunately cannot accept commissions for iconostasis.  Check back from time to time!
 
 

Terms of payment:
 
I accept personal checks and Paypal.  A nonrefundable deposit, 50% the cost of the icon, is due when the commission is contracted.  The remainder of the cost is due when the icon is completed.  If a personal check is sent for the remainder of the cost, the icon will be shipped once the check has cleared.
